Dashboard and Insights
View dictation activity, estimated time saved, and model usage and performance.
Open Dashboard for your dictation overview, then View Insights for detailed activity and model summaries.
Time Periods
Choose Today, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Year, or All Time. Charts and model summaries follow the selected period.
Insights include productivity over time, an activity calendar, peak hours, model usage, and model performance. Transcription and enhancement are tracked separately so you can see which stage contributes to processing time.
Understand the Numbers
Time saved is an estimate: VoiceInk compares typing the recorded word count at 40 words per minute with the recording duration. It does not measure your actual typing speed.
Enhancement token usage is estimated, not a provider invoice or a guaranteed match for billed tokens. Model timings summarize recordings with available timing data; different audio lengths and network conditions affect comparisons.
History and Statistics
Dashboard statistics use separate local session metrics such as timestamps, word counts, model names, and timings. These metrics do not contain the transcription text. Deleting a History record does not automatically delete its session metrics, so statistics can remain after History cleanup.
Use History → Analyze to inspect the timings of selected saved transcriptions. Copy System Info on Dashboard prepares configuration details for support; review them before sharing.
