Transcription Settings
These settings affect transcription behavior across Modes:
| Setting | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Remove Filler Words | Removes configured filler words before formatting and enhancement. |
| Add Space After Paste | Adds a trailing space after pasted text. |
| Voice Activity Detection | Helps ignore silence and reduce repeated or hallucinated text. |
| Prewarm Model | Keeps the selected local model ready so recordings can start faster. |
Enhancement Settings
These settings affect AI enhancement timing:
| Setting | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Skip short transcriptions | Avoids enhancement for very short recordings. |
| Timeout Duration | Controls how long VoiceInk waits for enhancement before timing out. |
| Retry on timeout | Tries enhancement again when a timeout occurs. |
